From the podcast “The Adventure Zone”, the two characters Edward and Lydia, better known as the Vogue Elves, are the creators of Wonderland – a dangerous game labyrinth where heroes come to face danger to win the prizes they desire with the risk of losing their lives.

Choosing to cosplay characters from a podcast without any official designs is always a fun challenge. I collaborated with Vanellus Cosplay to bring our vision of these characters to life. 

We were inspired by the drag scene and with “The Adventure Zone” being set in a modern-fantasy hybrid world, we wanted our elves to be as colorful and crazy as possible. The patterns were custom and we used stretch fabrics for dance-wear to make these costumes, as well as EVA foam for the shoulder armor and lots of glitter. 

Vanellus Cosplay helped during the design process and made all parts on her Lydia costume. Both wigs were styled by me.
